Valentines day!

Hi there lovely!

what makes valentines day different from any other day?
 well you could go all historian on me and say its because we should remember how saint valentines was marted for his faith, but we all know that not many people celebrate valentines day for that reason. you could say it is a special day to celebrate love and appreciate your significant other. you could also say its just a scheme for shops to make more money. to be honest i think that valentines day should be remembered for the original reason that day was created for. why do couples need a reason to get dressed up and go out for dinner or to buy each other flowers and chocolates? i mean its like national take your significant other out on a date day. and for all those single girls out there crying over bowls of ice-cream its just a mess. why should we feel like we need to be in a relationship just to celebrate a day or to even just fit in? i know this is all coming from a single teen girl but even if i had a boyfriend i would still think we should be remembering saint valentines, yeah sure if i had a boyfriend we would probably do something for valentines day but that doesn't mean i am completely ditching all my beliefs. but seriously nowadays if you don't have a boyfriend you might come across as a little weird. i know Ive been teased about not having a boyfriend and I'm sure many other girls have been to, but you know what that's okay, you shouldn't need to be with someone just to be happy or just to be cool, its not true love then.
anyways thanks for reading my unreadable blab that just goes on and on and on. hope i make sense :P
